Hello! Thank you for coming to this page to learn more about the PERSON behind Webz by Elise.

Creating something from nothing has always come naturally to me. I thoroughly enjoy the process of designing a website from scratch. Since 2019, I’ve been working with the Squarespace platform through my blog, Relax Cook & Decorate. Previously, I designed my first blog website in 2016 on WordPress. Blogging was my introduction to the world of web design.

My academic background is in psychology. Being able to use my knowledge about human behavior as a tool in my design has enabled me to design with the user experience in mind. Additionally, I have managed a few social media accounts for some local businesses in Maryland since 2016 (including my own). This work has enabled me to expand my graphic design and short-form copywriting skills.

In 2022, I decided to seriously pursue offering web design as a service and obtained a certificate in Introduction to Web Development hosted by UC Davis via Coursera.

Ultimately, my goal is to offer web design services to small businesses and entrepreneurs that will help them take the next step toward success!
